Hebiichigoのオリジナル商品は、そんな願いから生まれました。
子どもの頃から、いつか国際協力に関わりたいと思っていました。
医療の道を選び、働きながら世界を旅するうちに感じたのは——
「人が自分の力で学び、選び、動けること」こそが、いちばんの支援ではないかということでした。
旅先では、家族を支えるために働きながらも、学びへの意欲を失わない女性たちと出会いました。
誰かのために、そして自分のために、今日も手を動かしている彼女たち。
そんな姿を見て、Hebiichigoとしてできる小さな循環をつくりたいと思いました。
このオリジナルシリーズは、女性たちが安心して働き、学び、夢を描ける環境づくりにつながるプロジェクトです。
ブロックプリントや縫製など、手仕事の文化を次の世代へとつなぐこともその一部。
“かわいい”を通して、誰かの自立をそっと後押しできたら。それがHebiichigoのオリジナル商品に込めた想いです。

Connecting cultures and hearts through the “kawaii” found in handmade crafts around the world —
Hebiichigo’s original creations were born from this wish.
Since childhood, I had dreamed of being involved in international cooperation.
While working in healthcare and traveling the world, I came to realize that
true support means helping people learn, choose, and act by their own strength.
On my travels, I met women who worked tirelessly to support their families
while never losing their desire to learn.
Each day, they continue creating — for others, and for themselves.
Witnessing their strength inspired me to build a small cycle of support through Hebiichigo.
This original series is part of a project that helps create an environment
where women can work, learn, and dream with confidence.
It also carries the hope of passing down traditional crafts such as block printing and sewing to the next generation.
If our idea of “kawaii” can quietly encourage someone’s independence,
then that is the heart behind every Hebiichigo original.
We also accept requests for consignment and bulk orders of our original products.
As more people enjoy these handmade pieces, the circle of support for the women who craft them continues to grow.
