世界の手仕事に宿る“かわいい”を通して、
文化と想いをつなぐこと。
Hebiichigoのオリジナル商品は、
そんな願いから生まれました。
子どもの頃から、いつか世界と関わる仕事がしたいと思っていました。
医療の道を選び、働きながら世界を旅するうちに感じたのは——「人が自分の力で学び、選び、動けること」こそが、いちばんの支援ではないかということでした。
旅先では、家族を支えるために働きながらも、学びへの意欲を失わない女性たちと出会いました。
誰かのために、そして自分のために、今日も手を動かしている彼女たち。
そんな姿を見て、Hebiichigoとしてできる小さな循環をつくりたいと思いました。
このオリジナルシリーズは、女性たちが安心して働き、学び、夢を描ける環境につながっています。
ブロックプリントや縫製など、手仕事の文化を次の世代へとつなぐこともその一部。
“かわいい”を通して、

Connecting cultures and hearts through the “kawaii” found in handmade crafts around the world —this simple wish is where Hebiichigo began.
Since childhood, I dreamed of being involved in international work.
While working in healthcare and traveling across different countries,
I came to realize that true support is not about giving something to others,
but about creating opportunities where people can learn, choose, and act on their own.
During my travels, I met women who work to support their families,while never losing their curiosity and desire to learn.
Each day, they continue creating — for others, and for themselves.
Witnessing their strength inspired me to create a small, sustainable cycle through Hebiichigo.
This original series is made in collaboration with a workshop in South India,where women can work in a fair environment while developing their skills.
It also carries the hope of passing down traditional crafts such as block printing and sewing to the next generation.
If our idea of “kawaii” can quietly support someone’s independence,
that is the feeling behind every Hebiichigo original.
